About me
I have been privileged to educate, engage and inspire young people as a textbook author, classroom teacher and head of department in a secondary school.
I write books that have sold in the hundreds of thousands for the biggest educational publisher in the world. I have created an innovative iPad App that harnessed the appeal of comics to teach history. I have written articles that have appeared everywhere from the Sunday People to SecEd magazine and I write scroll-stopping, SEO copy for websites, blogs and social media.
Away from the keyboard I am a devoted partner, proud dad and exasperated beagle owner. I love history, particularly the English Civil War, walking my dog and 90s football.
Brands I Have Worked With
Services
Although education is my passion, I am able to turn my copywriting skills to any sector. Current clients include those working in property, recruitment and financial services.
I'd love to hear about your project and find out how I can support.
Edtech_
I talk to teachers about their pain points in language they understand and create content for students that engages, inspires and educates.
If you’re an EdTech startup, I can help grow your business by writing copy that cuts through for both your website and marketing.

SEO
copywriting_
I write copy that grabs the attention of both readers and robots by weaving key terms into scroll stopping meta titles that will rocket you up the search engine rankings.
Product description
copywriting_
Sell the sizzle not the sausage! Good product descriptions can make all the difference between closing a sale and pushing a customer into the arms of a competitor. Let’s tell the world why they want to buy your product.

Everyone has a book inside them apparently. It’s just that some people really struggle to get it out. My ghostwriting is spookily good - you won’t even know I’m there.
